I'm only 103 pounds and I have to wear a medium. How is a medium bad? :/

First of all, for future reference, unless you know her size for sure and she said she wanted something, buying a girl clothes is a bad idea. (At least it is for me, but I only trust my mum to buy me clothes.) Second of all, in what bass-ackwards world is a medium fat?!

Medium is not a bad thing. I was super skinny but my hips and boobs were always too big for small. Just explain that to her and she will feel a little more confident. So always use that as an excuse...I mean, it's not good to lie, but you know, sometimes a little confidence boost goes a long way. Also, it might be true, too. If it is true, then great.

Does she not buy clothes for herself? Any girl who actually shops around will be able to see that size labels vary between manufacturers and in which country the clothes are made. You can have three dresses that are the same size, but the labels would be 1) xtra small, made in China; 2) small, made in Vietnam; and 3) medium, made in Mexico.

Maybe explain how different companies have different ideas of what small medium and large are???

If Medium is 'fat' a lot of people are going to die very young this generation. Seriously, even underweight I still took mediums. -_- It's like the mythical 'size 0'. Jesus christ why is that a thing AND WHY DO PEOPLE WANT TO BE INCREDIBLY SICK AND SAY IT LOOKS GOOD

Not your fault she's bigger. And she should be happy you know her size.
