Illumi113: firstly, ew. brush your ******* teeth. Also, at least plexico has something amusing to say! unlike yourself. plexico: rofl I always enjoy your comments, seriously, if you lived anywhere near cork, you should gimme a call!!! ;) OP: dude, I feel for you, you pay for fillings with coinage and pain. I wouldn't say sue so much as a stern letter from your solicitor.
I always wondered about that. I was shocked and annoyed when my dentist told me I had two or three cavities... after six months of brushing at least twice a day.
i know that too. my old dentist said "ohh 3 cavitys", the new one only found one.
So which one was right?
Owwie. I feel your pain. When I was three years old, my dentist told my mom I had a horrible rotting problem. He said I needed a crown and four fillings. Well, we got all of it done and then he told my grandfather the same thing, so my mother took me to a different dentist. Sure enough, no cavities. Perfect, cute little baby teeth with a lot of unnecessary metal.
SUE THE PANTS OFF THAT DENTIST! :)
What the hell is wrong with that dentist?
I had to have 2 of my teeth filled b/c the way they were shaped - would make them highly likely to GET cavities...as in, food & particles would get stuck, and even with brushing and flossing I wouldn't be able to get it out. SO, no cavities in those teeth, but they were still filled. There was a little drilling to sort of open up the spaces so the flilling stuff could easily go in and fill in all the crevices. It's possible you weren't ripped off, but misunderstood. (Or if you were really young, your parents didn't explain it to you well enough.)
that's malpractice! He could get in serious trouble for that, such as having his license revoked. I would report him. He could potentially hurt someone, not to mention scamming many people, and the healthcare system.
Now I wanna be a dentist when I grow up.
