It is ridiculous to say the OP is a bad parent for the fact that her child got ahold of scissors. anybody who has children or has even been around a child knows that they can get into ANYTHING especially at the age of 4. && Even if she had safety scissors instead of regular ones, they are sharp enough to cut hair too. My little cousin cut her own hair with her safety scissors.
