I take the opposite approach... ask if they'd like to come in and watch **** with you.
"Oh good, Mormon missionaries. I've been wanting to ask a question. I thought it was strange enough that so many of Joseph Smith's 34+ wives were teenagers, but what is the deal with the eleven women he married who were already married to other faithful Mormon men?" (And yes, this is absolutely true.)
It's not a secret that in the early days of the church, Mormons practiced polygamy. That's common knowledge and old news. The LDS faith no longer practices multiple marriage and to do so is now considered a sin by the church. As for his teenage wives, in that time period it was commonplace for girls to get married around fourteen and up, and often earlier. That was an issue of the era, not the church.
Do Mormons ever /truly/ go on vacation?
From Mormonism? No.
The webcomic Something*Positive had the funniest answer ever on how to deal with Mormons. Not recommended IRL, but still funny.
As ex Mormon with family who still attends, just be firm. No, no thank you, I believe you can believe what you like but I'm not religious. They shouldn't keep pushing and If they do remember no means no- so don't feel bad if you have to be a little more clear like please leave my property and do not contact me again. But honestly my family pushes way harder then the missionaries especially when I explain my personal relationship with god is that I'm agnostic and I don't think churches are doing enough for women I.e. Backing women's choice, global warming, & lgbtq and sex education- actually education in general. That they kinda get big eyed and back off but my family tried to tell me otherwise- but it's okay I think they are coming to the light. Btw jehovah witnesses and LDS missionaries will give paper brochures and books out like they own the paper supply company and perhaps they do. Lol so don't fret just donate it or you know recycle it
How to deal with missionaries and/or salesmen in general: 1. Pause or turn off current activity 2. Open door 3. Say, "Thank you, but I'm not interested." 4. Close door 5. Resume activities that actually mean something to you There's no reason to feel guilty about being blunt as long as you aren't rude. Especially since they're coming onto your property with the intention of making an unsolicited sale to you.
Mormon missionaries come to my place all the time cause my mom was mormon as a kid. I just say say she isn't home, offer them water and shake their hand. they are probably used to it honestly
Are we supposed to feel bad for you be cause you let them in? That's ridiculous. ydi

Here's how to deal with Mormons: Explain that you're not particularly religious, but you've read about some of the archaeological work that sort of backs up names and places referenced in the Christian Bible, the Jewish Torah, and the Muslim Q'Ran. Then ask the missionaries what physical or historical evidence they can offer which tends to verify the stories that are described in the Book of Mormon. There isn't any, so they won't be able to give a satisfactory answer. Mollify them with Jesus' words: "Blessed are those who believe without seeing.", and then close the door. Note: it's most effective if you've actually read those four books first.
Just don't attend their actual church (cult) service out of politeness or they will baptize you the first time you go.
