Welcome to your career in food service! You need to learn the lingo. They didn’t “tip” you $5, they “billed” you $1.84. Aside from a few bad customers, your work will only increase your love for humanity!

Maybe OP has a hospitality degree and plans on running said restaurant eventually, but has to start as a server and work their way up.

In fast food, there's no tipping anyways. You probably mean casual dining. If I had to rely on my personality for tips, I'd end up swimming in debt.😂😂😂
