Today, I was let go by a job for the second time in less than a month, for the same reason - they couldn’t be bothered to give me any training or feedback. They even said I worked hard and had drive, but the wrong “skill set.” This could have been brought to my attention at the interview. FML

Today, I lost my job to the individual I just finished training. Within 2 hours after being escorted out, my old boss called and yelled at me for doing a lousy job. He was angry that the training was deficient and because the new person is as bad as I was. FML

Totally blows! They should have prepared for a new hire. Unfortunatly so many jobs are "at-will", so they don't need very much to getbrid of you. Especially in the early days.

I know the feeling man...got hired to work a manufacturing job then 6 weeks in got written up for not working to production standards because I was never properly trained on pretty much any of the machines we use...as soon as I find just as good or better I'm outta there before I loose a limb into a machine I'm running that I was never actually taught to use
