Today, I picked up my car from the repair shop, drove two miles, and ran out of gas. I then walked to get gas, put a gallon of gas in the car, and tried to start it. The battery was too weak to start the car, and died on the spot. FML

Times like this make me glad AAA exists.

Perhaps an investment in jumper cables would be more ideal.

42, their jingle should be "Like a good neighbor, State Farm will you on hold!"

Lol :P That's true! They do put you on hold. I'll have more luck trying to figure out how to fix my car than to wait on State Farm

I hope you called the repair shop and told them what happened so they can come get you and tow your car.

I am so sorry you had to go through that that is horrible

With my car, I have to have at least 2 gallons of gas in my car for it to start after completely running out. Might not be the battery.

You might want to see what the repair shop did to your car

Texas and Oklahoma: the two hottest states ever! 115 degrees fahrenheit!

At least your tranny didn't fall out the bottom of your car on the highway

What, did they take your car for a joy-ride? Because as far as I know, you probably didn't leave your car at the repair shop with only 2 miles-worth of gas.
