Today, I'm staying in a hotel where the lights are automatic. They turn on when something moves and turn off when everything is still. I'm a sensitive sleeper and I move in my sleep, so the light wakes me up. It's currently 2 a.m. and all together I've gotten about 20 minutes of sleep. FML

Tell it to f*ck off and see if it listens.... if not, cover it up with a towel.

If they turn on with all motion, they'd be on when he tried to unscrew them. That wouldn't work out so well unless he happens to have some sort of thick gloves with him.

what kind of hotel has automatic lights?

Motion-sensitive lights: good idea in theory. Bad idea in practice, unless they have some way of turning them off manually.

Omg. If I cant sleep i get so mad. i probably would have either yelled. or broke the lights. even though I'd have to pay for them. but hey. I could sleep.
