Today, my mum had no legitimate reason to have her daily yell at me, so she resorted to bitching me out for putting her phone on charge after it started beeping with a low battery warning. FML

Today, I downloaded an application that notifies me when my phone is fully charged. I had no idea how it actually functions, but I plugged the charger in and went to bed. A couple of hours later, I woke up to a man's voice screaming, "I can't take it anymore!" I nearly wet myself. FML

Today, the power went out at work. As everyone left the building to go home, the owner came in to inform me that, since the phones were on a battery back up, I would be staying to man them. The phones rang 2 times in the 4 hours I sat in the dark by myself. Both times were telemarketers. FML

Today, I was visiting my new in-laws for the first time. During an awkward silence, I took my phone and figured I'd send my friend a text jokingly saying "Mayday, mayday! Somebody save me!" My mood lightened up a little and I felt quite well until my mother-in-law's phone beeped. Yep. FML

I'm amazed at how intense and complex some of these debates get. She was probably bored, doing nothing all day, kinda lonely just hoping to chit chat with a friend. How on earth can such a simple concept of one being kept company turned into "she needs to get a life" and "what an attention *****.." I feel ya on this one chica. We all have those off days.

OH TOO BAD, TRULY A SAD STORY. The only person who has called me the last 6-8 months is my mother. Three-four times. I'm tempted to try to submit a FML of that.
