Today, by request from my new boss, I came into work over an hour early to finish some backed-up filing. This seemed like a great opportunity to earn some extra overtime pay. After spending an hour and half filing, I realized I hadn't clocked in for the day. FML

explain it to your boss. it's not that hard. but FYL just in case you can't get those hours >_>

You just have to write the time in and get your boss to initial it. This is a horrible FML because it is easily avoided. Plus, so what, you miss out on like 20 bucks. Get a real job and you won't have a punch card.

No big deal, you can just let your boss know and I'm sure he'll figure something out.

It's illegal to work while not being paid, I'm sure your boss would rather retro pay you than get sued.

You can put in a request for hours, no big deal (Just hope you're not submitting this from work :P)

So ask your boss to fix your time sheet. But YDI for even posting this on FML. Not an FML at all. You're just stupid.

Yeah I've forgotten to clock in a few times, it really is fairly simple to go into you boss's office and say so.
