Today, I met my girlfriend's extended family for the first time. Her family kept telling her how much I looked and acted like her older brother and I'm guessing by the end of the day she agreed, because now she pulls away and gags when I try to kiss her. FML

Daddy's girl

Today, my girlfriend introduced me to her family. She’s always called her dad “Daddy” when talking about him, which is fine, but when we went to their house she kissed him on the mouth as a greeting, and at one point was sat on his lap, almost falling asleep. She’s 25. This can't be a good sign. FML

Today, I met my girlfriend's parents for the first time over dinner. In order to make a good impression, I was as polite as possible, and tried to be as engaging as I could. Near the end of dinner, my girlfriend's mom says, "I liked your old boyfriend better." FML

Today, I met my girlfriend's sister and within a few hours we were in love. Seriously, personality-wise I’ve had more fun today just talking with her sister than I have for over a year dating my girlfriend, including the sex. We don’t want to cheat and hurt her sister. This sucks. FML

Today, I was meeting my girlfriend's parents for the first time. She warned me they were a little weird. Right when we walked in the door, her parents were there to greet us...in the nude. Apparently this constitutes as a LITTLE weird. They both hugged me. FML

Oh wow that sucks. Maybe she didn't notice it before, I mean she might see her brother differently than the rest of her family does. Also, it could be that Daddy syndrome thing or w/e it is. Like girls date older men because they want someone to treat them like their dad did- special. Maybe she looks up to her brother and likes the kind of person he is. Nothing wrong about it really. I mean even by her reactions you can tell that now that it's pointed out she finds it weird. =/

Hahah, that kinda sucks. Give it a bit of time, and hopefully you won't look so much like him anymore... Or you could get in a big accident and have to get re-constructive surgery done on your face! :)

maybe the family just want to show friendly with u, and want to meke you feel familiar with them but that action will always make people uncomfortable... bless u~
