Today, my husband kicked me out because I told him I'm having an abortion. He just doesn't understand that with the way our country is right now, and how bad the economy is, it's just not a good idea to have kids at the present time. FML

Today, I announced to my boyfriend of 5 years that I was pregnant. He gave me an ultimatum. Either I "get rid of it" because he’s "not ready to be a dad" or he’ll "put me out on the streets." I’m unemployed and have nowhere to go if I keep it. FML

Today, I had the abortion my husband and I agreed on, after multiple forms of birth control failed. His family somehow found out, and now they're all mad at us for not telling them I was ever pregnant, with a child we never wanted, and took precautions to avoid creating. FML

Having a child is beyond a lifetime commitment. Political cycles and economic cycles come and go. If kids don't fit into your life right now, then yeah, maybe not have kids, but the condition of the world and the nature of the country shouldn't affect your decision.

There will always be reasons not to have kids. Life will never be perfect, If you didnt want kids you should have used protection. Not waited to get pregnant so you could virtue signal to get an abortion.
