Today, I shared my opinions on ICE's recent murder of a mother on my TikTok, and shared it on my Bluesky account. I was still logged in to my work's Bluesky. A bunch of scummy bigot cavemen called my boss and complained, and the spineless fuckwit fired me. FML

I agree with you, but you really can't opinions not related to your job on your work account, at least not without permission. There are a lot of legalities and red tape with business accounts. Sorry you got fired.

I'm going to go out on a limb and opine that if some MAGA supporter had shared his opinion while logged into his work X account, you'd be the first in line baying for his head. So it's hard to feel very sorry for you, Mr/Ms/Mx ALL CAPS person.

You know very well that if the roles were reversed, and ICE drove into a protester who then shot the ICE agent dead, you'd be all, "The driver deserved it! ICE tried to run her over! The video shows it clearly!"

If you don't have the sense to keep your private life and work life, real and digital, completely separate then you kinda shot yourself in the foot there. You should know better than posting your personal opinions ANYWHERE near your work life, or anywhere any bloody nutter might be able to track you back to your real life from. That's what burner/alt accounts with zero traceable info are for. Learn the lesson and move on.
