I agree with #10. Don't 1up your boss unless you have the eyes of his boss on you. Then you can be moved up to a better position. And you shouldn't have killed his plant. It was probably like a child to him.
You should offer to buy him a new one :P Your boss is an interesting character
stuff like this happens a lot. you do so much for a person, and then they only notice the one thing that went slightly wrong. don't worry, karma will eventually give you the job that you deserve.

What else did u expect? U can fill in 4 him. U can replace him doing even a better job and u are cheaper. Thank him that u r not fired, but the only way to get a raise now is to go and work for another company :D
