Bad omen

Today, my fiancé informed me he didn't want a regular wedding cake, he wants a Batman cake. I have nothing against this, except that he already decided the wedding theme would be Star Wars. Essentially, I'm marrying a child. FML

You've agreed to the theme, try to disuade him on the cake. Theres nothing wrong with the cake on its own but in a star wars theme that is just wrong. Even if it wa a star wars themed birthday party a batman cake would be odd. Maybe give him a batman cake for a grooms cake. Im not too sure what they are but on Ace of Cakes the bride got her husband to be a spiderman grooms cake, it was pretty kewl. He is still getting an awesome themed wedding and the cake just not all at once.

Just so you know, the groom's cake is served at the wedding at the same time. It's usually a completely different flavor than the main wedding cake. The groom's cake at my wedding was a rum cake.(:

ah Ok I didn't know that, I thought it was for before, As I mentioned I only know of grooms cakes through American tv shows, I dont think its a big thing over here ....yet. Promise him a batman cake for his birthday or something lol or for his stag night.

My bf is more than welcome to have his choice of wedding theme and more weddings should become a compromise between the couples so both get what they want. Bridezillas should be taken down a peg, its not just their wedding afterall.
