my 60 something year old english teacher spelled her name wrong when she signed my daily planner, when my step mom was filling out a form for me, she put her maiden name for my last name, and i spell my last name wrong sometimes. dont think you are stupid because of this, it happens to everyone. also, just because the kids are mentally challenged doesnt mean they can recognise a name they see everyday be misspelled.
