Today, I texted my mom and had to explain to her that calling me repeatedly at 2 a.m. because you're bored and want to talk is not really a good idea. Seriously, nothing happened, she just wanted to chat because she had nothing else to do. Her response to my message? She started calling me again. FML

That's really shitty coming from your mom, but it does add up, it costs me like 25 cents per message to receive from my husband. Although I really could care less about the costs, but if you are texting her a lot it may be raising her bill. You can write her letters for free (postage is free for you from Afghanistan)
