Today, I really had to go to the bathroom. Due to my fear of public restrooms, I made sure it was clear before I started. I heard someone sigh halfway through. Embarrassed, I waited a full ten minutes before leaving the stall, only to see that it was only the automatic air freshener. FML

Today, my coworker friend told me she was going to the restroom. Soon after, I did the same. Once in the stall, I could smell a stench emanating from the next one. I yelled, "Ew, you stinky bitch" and sprayed air freshener under the partition. As I left the stall, my friend walked into the restroom. FML

Today, I had to use a public bathroom. I have problems going when other people are there, so I waited until everyone left. Two girls noticed I was taking a long time, and started giggling and throwing notes under the door asking if I was alive. This continued for half an hour. FML

I've seen the same thing before in Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Except, in that case, the air freshener was carrying a chainsaw and it was chopping everyone's heads off. OP, you were right to wait inside the stall. Air Fresheners are very dangerous.

I'm surprised u didn't catch that nasty bacteria that waits in the toilet if u stay in a public toilet. that bacteria gives u a stomach ache for a long time and constant diarrhea lol

Don't exaggerate. There are bacteria in a public restroom, just like there are bacteria on almost everything. Besides, the most unhygienic place is not a public restroom, it is.... the keyboard of a computer.
