Today, I set my relationship status to taken with a fake profile just for kicks. A literal minute later, an acquaintance commented proof that I stole the image from Google. I can't tell if I was busted so quickly because I'm a bad liar, or that people find it impossible to believe that I could get a girlfriend. FML

Not being in a relationship is not necessarily considered pathetic. However, making up fake profiles and fake people to be in a "relationship" with is considered very pathetic. Not to mention, it'll most likely scare off any potential relationship candidates you may have had. So yeah, you're better off just admitting to being single.

I'm not one to normally say this...but this FML has "YDI" written all over it. YDI for making a fake Facebook account. YDI for having a fake girlfriend. If being in a relationship is so important - why not go find a real girlfriend?
