If you shut the car door when it's the locked position with your keys in the ignition, you're gonna get locked out. It happens.

Your profile says you're 17... yeah, I'm gonna guess that you don't even realize that there are cars around in which each door has to be manually locked. If it's one of those cars, it's very easy to do.
