I agree with #2 and #3. Texting is a much better choice in this situation--much less chance of something disastrous happening. And #1, I don't know what you mean by "you should know better." There's nothing wrong with sending sexy e-mails to your significant other, as long as you're discreet. Obviously, the original poster learned the second part of that the hard way.
