Today, it was my boyfriend and mine's six-month anniversary. I've really fallen in love with him, and I know he loves me the same, so I got him a really nice gift, a watch he's had his eye on for as long as I've known him. It was expensive. What did he get me? A condom. Three actually. FML

An anniversary implies a year has passed, since it comes from the word annum. I don't blame him for not getting anything, 'month-aversaries' are a little weird. Wait till a year has passed and then celebrate, I'm sure it will be worth the wait

1. anniversary by definition means one YEAR, from Latin "annum" 2. if you are in love after 6 months, he got the correct gift
