Today, my gallstones flared up so badly an ambulance was called. I needed the strongest painkillers they could supply and had even more at the hospital. When my boyfriend came to visit me, instead of comforting words, he told me that "being kicked in the balls is still worse". FML

I thought I was having a heart attack. Husband said I could lay with him while I died. I called an ambulance due to the pain. Hours in ER hallway, vomiting and urinating on myself every time. It took 3 hours to get pain medicine. $20,000 in debt and now it's gone to collection agency. Just filed bankruptcy 2 years ago to clear $25,000 ER debt from 4 years ago. I hate our medical in the US. I was out of work both times due to private jobs where clients passed away. Couldn't afford the high priced health insurance.
