I have to agree with #85 and #86. Suck it up. I feel the same way as you do but people always tell me to suck it up, and even though I don't like hearing that it's a good piece of advice. Besides, it's better being a loner anyway. People are untrustworthy and manipulative.
maybe we should turn FML into a friggin therapy session jeez, post something funny not this shiatsu
Anonymous, Rough deal, but it's nice to see you've got a sense of humor about it. As you can see, though, there are many people here who care, even though we don't know you. If we knew you, I'm sure we'd care more. Keep your chin up, and keep logged on to fmylife, where you can always find someone more miserable than you. =)
aw we're here for you :)
maybe you should change your point of view.don't worry
I agree, #90. Call another therapist or even better, go to a massage therapist. Helped *me* overcome depression faster than any talking could.
You're not alone, and don't ever think that. Surround yourself with those you feel best with, speak up and if it means pulling just ONE of your parents and talking to them about your feelings, then do so! That's the only way things will get better, if you speak up! You would think the secretary would have reminded the therapist that you were there. Try finding a new place to go to. They're obviously not very organized there, and a PROPER secretary wouldn't flat out tell someone that they were forgotten about, they would normally make an excuse up.
It may not have been the therapists fault often the receptionists screw up and know that you probably will yell at them but not a professional
time to visit a new therapist. try someone who confirms your appts, too.
