It's okay OP. Just remember how badly they ****** you over when they start expecting you to care for them or pay nurses to care for them in their old age. Remember how you could've had a degree and a career lucrative enough to pay for nurses, but they thought a beach house was a better investment.
Simple. Go spend there retirement fund on college tuition.
Saving for 8 yrs? Why?! Financial aid. Go part time. Grants. Loans. College costs increase every year. Even if you still had the $ you would never save enough to pay for it all. Get some advice and I don't mean from FML.
There is nothing wrong with striving for a debt-free education. A lot of people get ruined by student debt. Anyway, it doesn't necessarily mean that OP spent those years doing nothing but working. S/he could have been working through high school, too.
I still find it shocking just how many AWFUL parents exist... ;(
Horrible parents...
I would be so pissed. I wouldn't talk to them until they were on their death beds
Why did your parents have access to it in the first place if it's money YOU were saving. My parents can't go into my accounts.
Your parents suck ! :(
