My job consists of paperwork and coaching. I hate paperwork but do it so I can continue coaching, which I love. I had surgery on my back and now I can only do paperwork for the next 6-10 weeks so I can keep my job and not get hurt. FML.

And?? In the real world, even our dream jobs have aspects to them we don't like or find tedious. Best of luck with the surgery recovery but seriously.

At least you’re not a furloughed government worker. Won’t you get ahead on paperwork if you’re doing it full-time for the next few months?

OP, you knew when you took the job that it required paperwork - just like every other (decent) job in the world, so suck it up, buttercup! Then you shouldn't have had the surgery. TFTFY!
