I'd just like to say to 263 that all animals were meant to be eaten by other animals, but humans aren't hunted by other animals anymore because they're all afraid of us. Are you saying that, to be fair, we would have to sacrifice ourselves? I don't think that people should be pissed at other people for their life choices, like eating meat or being a vegetarian or vegan(unless someone is trying to convert them) but it's not really something to get worked up over, everyone has different beliefs, and diets, like religions, should be respected.

#9, we are evolved from chimps who are OMNIVORES. We technically are omnivores, but it doesn't do us any real good.

That is so sad. I'm a vegetarian too, but moreover, even when I ate meat, I would never want to eat animals I had known. And that is SO RUDE of them to kill your chickens without asking. Fiance's parents or not, I would have gone off on them. Or broken down in tears and ran off.
