Today, I found out that the pharmacy I've been getting my prescriptions from for over two decades is closing down. Just the one store. In less than a week. The signs proudly proclaim "Store Closing! This Store Only!" FML

When I called HR to find out if my application was in the wrong file I was told I lack the leadership qualities necessary for Target. I graduated with honors from a military school. FML

Looks like lots of folk have done the same thing at some time. I did practically the same thing once, and I hadn't even WORKED at the other store, I'd just heard their greeting so many times it was burned into my brain.

I wouldn't worry to much most of the people left in the store were probably workers anyway. So you just gave everyone there a good laugh after a hard days work. I hope you do a follow-up on this. I really don't think they would fire the OP for a slip of the tongue as long as the OP didn't swear or anything after.
