Investigation does not mean conviction. Maybe some asshole just wanted to cause trouble for your adoptive parents and they'll clear the investigation.
Definitely talk to the investigators. They have the child's best interest at heart; I'm sure they will listen to you, the child.
Sometimes there is nothing wrong but CPS has to investigate anyway to make sure that no child has been harmed. I am sure CPS will ask your opinion if there is a need.Just tell the truth. If you are adopted I don't think they can just whisk you away to foster care. There are steps they have to follow. Adoption is far more secure than a foster placement. Speak to your school guidance counsellor for advice. Hopefully, CPS agree with you that they are wonderful parents and close the case. Good Luck.
