I like how people judge so quickly from what op told. There's more to the story then being told as it sounds like... Like was he working the 6 hours? Or out partying? A lot of missing information here and I know can't be all explain since there is a limit on posting. Although it isn't the way of repaying someone for baby sitting doesn't mean he is a horrible father just not bright. People do hit hard times. I would like op to explain further about this guy and what he was doing the 6 hours. Maybe op can talk him into giving what he can or until he is paid.

Actually does matter... If he was partying, I would say pay up.. If he was working, work out a deal. I am a single parent and I am lucky that my own mother watches my daughter for free that way I can work. If she didn't, I would be stuck having trouble paying people to baby sit her or paying day care plus bills. I don't make much at all... So, I can see why he said it and at the same time made him sound dumb. If he couldn't pay to begin with, the truth would be easier said about his money issue and deal made instead telling her at the last minute. I see people don't agree what I said and that's fine... I just don't jump on the ' he is an ass or horrible parent' wagon until more is said about why he needed a baby sitter in the first place.

I am saying to OP to make a deal. Deny his offer and ask him to pay her when he is able too or little bit at a time. I didn't excuse what he said, it was wrong and he had many ways of offering to pay instead offering sex. He wasn't too bright, but being not bright doesn't make you as a person a bad parent . I am pointing out that part out that I disagree calling him a bad parent for one comment/offer he made. I don't brand people for one comment they make unless I personally know them.
