Today, my soon to be ex-wife told her friends that we're getting a divorce because I'm physically abusive. I guess that sounded better than the truth: that she waited 8 months into her pregnancy to tell me that the child probably isn't even mine. FML

Could you record yourself confronting her about it? If she thinks it is just you and her in the room, she might say out loud that it is a lie, which you could maybe use as evidence if this becomes a court case? I don't know if that is allowed but it might be good to have some evidence that she is lying.
