I really hope everyone is joking with the comments about getting her drinks or waiting.. Pretty scary if not and people think it's okay to try to feed drinks to someone to alter their mind enough to get them to where they won't/can't say no completely knowing that they didn't want to.

Reminds me of a sketch from Catherine Tate where she also tells a guy that she is not drunk enough to find him attractive, although she can barely stand and even drank her own body weight in beer. And she is really sorry about it. "If only I could get so spectacularly pissed, I just wasn't aware of what you looked like."

At which point you say, can I buy you a drink?

maybe that was not directed towards your looks OP, maybe it just meant that she doesn't want to do something she might regret ;) don't take it personally and try to get her number anyway and meet her under other circumstances, who knows, maybe you could have a real chance instead of just a one night stand ;)

Greatness, what a bitch. I understand sexual preferences but she didn't have to be so rude. A simple "No thank you" would have sufficed.
