Today, I texted my boyfriend to see if he wanted to finally have sex today. His response was "Can't, Platinum just came out." I didn't know what that meant so I searched "Platinum 3-22-2009" on Google. I found out he's talking about a new Pokémon game. FML

Sadly, I can relate. I dated a Pokemon-obsessed guy for almost a year and a half in high school who would schedule our dates around the show. Consider that he was a senior when I was a sophomore. He was still a really nice guy, though, so we found ways to work around it. (It's why he saw so many chick flicks in that year and a half.) It's probably for the best that he turned down the sex. But it still sucks that you're going to lose out on sex for a little while over a damn game. If he's a good guy otherwise, then it might be worth it to grin and bear it.
