Today, I got home from work to find the door locked and dead bolted, so I used my cell to call the home phone while banging on the door. My stepmom came out of her room, looked right at me, laughed, and went back to bed. This is the fifth time she's done this. FML

maybe you should lock the door next time she leaves the house to check the mail and then laugh and go back to whatever you were doing when she wants back in.

I know a woman who do that to the son of her boyfriend. She said he's stupid only because he's a kid (well, 19 years old) and pushed him to move out and to get a job and a room. She never implicated herself at all in his life and apparently, her BF does the same so they just laugh at "how silly he talks or acts". Then she complains he's a good for nothing working in a restaurant and without any dreams. Tsk. In her case, it's better she never had kids herself. So FYL OP if she's bitchy like that in your everyday life.
