There is a VERY simple way around this, and for those of you viewing you may benifit. If his account is labled as "Administrator" well then stop reading here. However if his account is labled as lets say "David" then you may be in luck. Shut down the computer. Turn it back on and while it is starting up press "F8" and you will eventually be redirected to a screen with multiple options. Select "Start windows in safe mode". Windows will take longer than usual to boot up than normal but be patient it has to load a few other things. When it starts up you should see a few new things. For starters everything will be bigger (I won't go into why this is) and you'll see a new Administrator account. This is known as the back door to windows and its what those guys at the computer shop often use to charge you $50 when you forget your password. Anyhow, click on Administrator and it SHOULD let you right in with full administrator rights. Change the settings and you're golden. Hope this helps. It was a gift to you and if you're over 18 you have every right to use it as you please his house or not.
So that's when you buy yourself a laptop, secretly, and keep it in your room?
Get a girlfriend
YDI for not knowing how to get around that. Seriously, there's nothing he can block if you can boot a LiveCD on there. lern2Linux, GOGOGOGOGOGOGO
Thanks dad!
my parents did that. for the next week, i made sure to do things through out the day to make sure i couldnt get on the computer to type up some "homework" i had to do, and my parents didnt like getting up from bed at eleven to come take off the restrictions. they also didnt like to come type in their password whenever i opened a new page and went to some god awful blocked site, like google. or my email. they got tired of it and took off the time lock and parental restrictions.
YDI because you can't figure out how to bypass it
http://www.ubuntu.com Don't mention it. Install that over Windows and make yourself the administrator. Problemo solvedo.
I was expecting something at the end like "and I'm 21" I think that would have made it FML material.

Just download tons of horse **** on his computer. When he asks why, tell him that for some reason, you couldn't download anything on yours so you used his instead. :D
How old are you?
