That sucks, but he may have his reasons... I'm English, but I speak with an American accent. This is because my only friends are American or Canadian and England barely feels like my home any more (I lived in France my whole life). I plan to move to the USA soon and start a new life there. Your bf could have had a perfectly good reason. Or he was just being an ass.
