Today, I admitted to my parents that I'm a pathological liar and I would like to go get help. They didn't believe me, and told me stop making stuff up. FML

So they don't believe the fact that you're a pathological liar... Which means they think it's a lie... Which gives them evidence that you ARE a pathological liar. This like lie-ception!

We'd like to believe you, OP, but we all know what an incredible liar you are. Wait, what?

well you're clearly lying about being a liar, but since you're lying about lying, that means you're honest...which means that you're a liar..and DAMN YOU DiCAPRIO! YOU INCEPTION'D MY ASS AGAIN

An honest liar is what you are! Do you lie about little things? Or big things? There is a difference.

16- Op has a problem, admitted said problem, and expressed the desire to correct it with assistance. How exactly does he/she deserve to be mocked for that? :p

It might even be his fault too.

Ever think maybe your parents just like you that way, and don't think you require help...maybe your whole family is full of pathological liars....it develops some place.

Actually a lot of pathological liars develop from neglect, as a form of seeking attention and approval from the absent party. Sounds like they just don't care about op a whole lot.

The beginning of another wonderful circular argument. Prepare to be a dog chasing its tail OP.

That awkward moment when your parents think your full of shit

God I can't stand pathological liars. I've met 3 so far in my life. But if you want to get help, that's a step forward.
