Today, after having been told that I looked horrible for the last five months, I decided to give myself a make-over. As soon as the make-up artist was done, I told her I didn't like it, and that I still didn't like how I look. She simply replied: ''Well, I'm a make-up artist, not a magician!'' FML

But the way this is worded, it seems as though OP wasn't being too polite, either.

Being told you look horrible for a period of 5 months doesn't mean you simply need make up. It's probably the fact that you are fat as shit and need a lifestyle change and a workout trainer

Actually, it's most likely a result of dickheads like you making comments like that. Go figure.

Hahahahahahaha... I mean ohhh that sucks!! -,-

I know how that may sound, but she probably didn't mean it that way. Maybe she meant that she's not a magician, so she can't change the way you see yourself.

Well she isn't, she just worked really hard and you dissed her--what do you expect? I'm sure she hears this every day with people expecting so much from her--its a lot of pressure. Make-up artists show your best features, they can't make you into someone else. Be proud of who you are and what you look like, you are unique and beautiful.

This is a problem she needs to take into her own hands instead of having someone else try to cover it up with make up for her. If it's just in the last 5 months then I think she just needs better sleep and a healthier diet.

You're beautiful the way you are

Don't worry about it.. You know how they say,"beauty is in the eye of the beer holder" :)

You're such a snob, it's make up, not plastic surgery. Try getting new clothes and losing weight.

As soon as she was done you rudely told her her work sucked. Maybe you should have been nicer when telling her you weren't satisfied.
