Today, a wild squirrel managed to get into my house. I can't see him… but I can hear him in the walls. FML

Yeah as opposed to tame? Because last I checked there aren't really tame squirrels... Squirrels are in the walls at my parents house all the time it happens your life is not ruined.

There are tamed squirrels. My neighbor used to have one as a pet. It was the cutest thing ever. They also had a skunk (de-scented) but it wasn't nearly as friendly.

You can't tame a wild animal regardless of if you get it as a baby. It still has those feral instincts. It's why wolves cannot be tamed even over generations. It's always possible they'll snap one day.
