Today, my mother invited me to a nice restaurant to meet her boyfriend whom she's been seriously dating for a month. Imagine my surprise when she led me to a table and my boyfriend's father stood up, shocked, to greet me. Rather than being horrified, she is now planning double dates every week. FML

Oh thats not that bad. Your mother and you are prob alot alike. Just like your boyfriend and his father. So why wouldn't it make sense that if your happy with your man she would be happy with some one alot like him. Its a running joke ( between my husband(, my self and my mother) that my husbands father and my mother would be great together. Its a joke considering hes married ( she is deff not on my favorite person list). Be happy that she found some one that makes her happy.

What? This doesn't make them siblings. Also, the OP is obviously no longer living with her mother (or she'd have found out earlier) so they won't be living together like a family anyway. It's a weird surprise, but all the "sick/******-up" commenters are kind of stupid.
