Today, I saw a man at the gym glancing at me. I went over and said, "Are you ogling me?" kind of low key flirtatiously. He said, "No, I'm working out. Don't flatter yourself." FML

Given that woman mostly get upset with men looking at them when at a gym, that line of yours was a conversation death sentance. Try asking them how a machine works or giving a compliment, not a accusatory question.
