OP here. Of course, I ran straight away to get the thingy to remove the tick, got it out without too much hassle. And even though the mood was decisively squashed (hehe), we did eventually get it on. But yeah, it absolutely gave me the heebie jeebies to see it right next to my face whilst in that, umm, position. All good, no Lyme, got laid!
