What is with all you people saying "YDI for working at McDonald's" or "get a real job"? Have you been living under a rock? Have you SEEN the job market? There. Are. No. Jobs. There are 15 people in line applying at McDonalds because they can't get anything else and have bills to pay. Stop bitching at people for working shitty jobs to pay the bills, and be glad they're working and not just abusing unemployment benefits like a lot of people. Right now a job is a job. You've gotta pay the bills.

Good, a reasonable response. There is a reason that McDonald's had a national job fair that had a shitload of people show up last month... I mean, really, people just don't get it.

I'm a manager at a mcds and I get so excited when we get pens to write on the receipts -_- haha nothing to be ashamed of. the job becomes kind of like a second home.
