Today, our dog died. My daughter was really upset about it, so my husband tried to cheer her up by saying, "At least she will be doing something that she liked forever: Sleeping!" My daughter continued to cry for half an hour. FML

At least it wasn’t what my wife’s parents did. Forced them to throw their pets in the trash immediately after they died. My in laws are total pieces of shit. Sadly, due to family insanity, she only recently learned how to care for and train pets. I grew up with dogs and pets, so I set the example. We now have 5 awesome cats, and all are cared for and healthy as I don’t let pets suffer from things like flees. So now she has healthy pets that are living longer than any pet she had growing up.
