Today, I have to start wearing adult diapers because I can't stop peeing myself. I'm 22. FML

Well time to add another fml to the list. I chose the anonymous option....clearly not anonymous. Well I should explain further since it's out in the open now. I've had bladder issues since I was a kid from wetting the bed to CONSTANT UTIs. About a year ago I got a massive infection down there that no doctor could diagnose until finally I found one willing to actually test me properly, the gynecologist world sucks by the way, and boom positive for ureaplasma. The infection went on for a year and I was treated for BV and yeast infections regularly but the pain was still there. After my diagnosis and it being cured I had a lot of damage and needed to see a physical therapist. So I've done the exercises, I've tried holding it, and I currently have an appointment scheduled. And although I'm absolutely mortified of my current state, that doesn't mean I'm saying I'm worse off than others. I'm sorry if it came off that way.

I think you need to do more than wear adult diapers. Go see your doctor.

yeah you need to go to the doc, you might have a really bad infection or even possibly bladder cancer. hope its something minor though :/

No shit. Pretty sure she would've done that first.

OP, there's so many things it could be, and is a lot more common than you'd think. I've had to take medication to help control my bladder since I was 7. It's not exactly a fact that I like to advertise, but hey, nerve damage happens, and I do what I have to. You may have to add the phrase "preventative pee breaks" to your vocabulary. ;) Good luck, and hopefully the doctors are able to help you!

See a doc? Great idea. Can't believe that she didn't think of that.

Pretty sure that would've been her first move....

Go see a local doctor, if you have incontinence, you may have an infection or something, it could be serious.

Show it anyway

I hear death from dehydration is in this season

Not really, given OP’s female gendered name I’m going to assume she’s prostate-less. Also, an enlarged prostate (which occurs with cancer) results in poor stream, difficulties with commencing voiding and not necessarily incontinence

1. Have you given birth recently? 2. Have you tried to hold it in to stretch your bladder? (Because that DOES NOT work for girls!) 3. Have you seen a doctor? 4. Have you tried kegel exercises?

See your private doctor ASAP and tell them you need to see a specialist

Need to go to the Doctor. Possible diabetes, infection, or other issues!

Don't worry about someone comparing your pain/distress to theirs. They're hateful as sin if they think that someone can't be embarrassed by something 'lesser'. And I could whine right back to that asshole if it'd ever make a difference. (It wouldn't, pitiful folks will remain pitiful.) I'm 33 and I've had MS related urinary trouble since I was 24; it's an embarrassment no matter which way it's turned. Here's hoping that you either get some kind of control over it or find some way that it won't be as obvious when the problem occurs. Hugs to you!

): I’m so sorry you have to deal with that, being sick is dumb. Good luck with life OP, I hope you find a way to make it easier.

someone is always going to be worse off, but that doesn't belittle your problems. you absolutely have the right to find this annoying and vent, I've fallen up the stairs and you better bet I vented admit that. so don't worry ascot it. I'm glad you're getting help, I hope everything works out for you and you make a full recovery.

Best of luck. I hope you find a solution.

It didn't come off that way. You just encountered a bitter a**hole. I had a friend who had constant UTIs and tried everything. Turns out, she had multiple sclerosis of all things. Very sad, but who would've thought? I hope your situation turns out to be far less dire.
