That sucks. Sorry, man. It's only a YDI if you voted Republican while they're promising to remove health coverage and support programs like SNAP. Otherwise...so sorry :( Good news though, kinda. Your wife just lost her job which means you can sign up for ACA coverage outside the sign-up period. As long as your state expanded Medicaid, you should be able to get insurance that way unless you're making $30K or so a year. At the least it may mean you can get your meds. Crossing fingers things work out for you, and hoping family and friends can help you while you get back on your feet!

OP, usually when one of those things happens, that is an FML. However, when all of those things happen, usually it is something you are doing. No job, no insurance, no funds, no meds? Sounds to me like you made some poor life choices and you should stop looking for sympathy and pull yourself together. You can get a job, your wife can get another job, you can apply for medical insurance, YOU can do it! Good luck out there.
