I had to cut 3 50 LB bags of onions once for the restaurant I worked at..Yeah-I used a chopper to cut them, but still had to cut off the top/bottom and peel...That was murder to me (and chewing gum helped up until the 10th onion)..lol

so does freezing the onion for about 20 minutes. i usually put a glass of water at the back of the counter and light a candle closer to me. the acid goes toward the water instead of my eyes.

I think he cares more about the customers and his business because he doesn't want his customers to have to see an employee that looks like she's been beaten.
