Today, I went to the hair salon to cut 6 in. off my hair. When I got there I decided to get my upper lip waxed for the first time. When my boyfriend came to pick me up for our date I asked if he noticed anything different about me, the first thing he said was "I see you got rid of you mustache." FML

that was mean. women get facial hair, it is life. If I had a gf and if she had it. i would not care, unless it bothered her. I would compliment her on her haircut. i would be looking into her eyes anyhow and not notice much^_-

i agree. and after waxes on sensitive parts ie the upper lip, it gets a little red a bit swollen, an it usually lasts all day. so that mightve gave it away.

no it doesn't. the follicle is too deep in the dermis to be affected by shaving. however, slicing a hair removes the worn, tapered end, causing the remaining hairs to appear coarser.

#2, #4 thanks. lol. No i live in this world. Being who you are and helping people is more important then getting a gf. If i luck out and find the right person who will work with me as a team. Where we will hopefully live a happy productive and satisfying life. then so be it. If not i will do what i need to do with my life. I don't care about being in the friend zone because, i would rather have a good friend for life, who will listen to me when i need it and help me in return. Rather then act like a monkey in heat and loose them. #3 *blush* thank you for the compliment. I hope one day for humans to learn that respect is earned by giving it. Common courtesy is king. We are all human and all equal, while social trends may come and go. Just look at the crazy hair and etc of the past few decades. Wish it enough and you may get more and more men to pay attention^-

#19 no. I said i would not bother her about it. I have seen girls with facial hair. it;s not even peach fuzz. Easiest way to get rid of it is with a cotton thread that can be used to pick at the hairs. it doesn't hurt as much as waxing and lasts as long. I said i would not demand she change it for me didn't say i would like it. i would definitely not call it a mustache etc nor bring it up in a conversation when she decided to wax it. that is rude and mean.
