my boyfriend did that to me a few years ago. he stopped answering my calls, texts, and IMs for a few days. then a mutual best friend of ours called me and broke up with me for him cause he was too much of a pansy to come out and tell me himself.

That's low. You should call him from another number, or (if possible) from his friend's phone. And tell him you're going to come round his house, eat all his biscuits and rape his dog. Even by doing that, you're STILL showing a greater level of maturity than he is *grin*

That happened to me with a guy who warned me he never answers calls from withheld numbers. Now I know why, and it was the only intelligent thought he'd ever had.
