Today, I had what I thought was a UTI, so I went to the Dr. Not only did they not find anything, but they had to catheterize me. I went from simple painful urination to feeling like someone is sticking a red hot knife down there every time I use the restroom, and no one seems to know why. FML

Could be another infection such as thrush or or bacterial vaginosis, a few other less likely possibilities to consider are things like an allergy or skin disorder which is causing skin inflammation in the area

Bacterial Vaginosis, yeast infection, latex allergy, lube allergy, self-toy allergy, toy-caused infection, allergic reaction to toilet paper....
The list goes on for possibilities, but in my experience doctors don’t care. Research online for stuff it could be, then ask your doctor if that is what you have. They should have tests for most of these things.
Or find a new, more competent doctor (Hah!) or gynaecologist.

Yes! I was going to suggest the same. I know two people with this condition. They tell me it feels just like a bladder infection. I really hope this isn’t OP’s issue.

They wouldn't do that without telling you why. So, either you're an 11 year old & bored with access to the internet where mom and dad didn't tell you why yet, or you're being over dramatic, know why and simply posted this for the "I agree, your life sucks"
